Your Glow Guide

Which Spray Tan is right for you?

Both options deliver a beautifully custom, streak-free glow. The main difference comes down to processing time and when you rinse. Here's everything you need to know to choose your perfect tan.

Classic Spray Tan

Traditional solution developing over 8–12 hours

Before First Rinse

  • • Leave solution on for the full recommended time
  • • Typically 8–12 hours or overnight

During this time, avoid

  • • Water
  • • Sweat
  • • Washing hands repeatedly
  • • Cooking steam
  • • Pets or children rubbing against skin

First Rinse

• Rinse with lukewarm water only

Do NOT use:

  • • Soap / body wash
  • • Shampoo on body
  • • Washcloths
  • • Loofahs
  • • Exfoliants

• Rinse until water runs mostly clear

After First Rinse

  • • Pat skin dry gently
  • • Begin moisturizing daily with a tan-safe lotion

Rapid / Express Spray Tan

Fast-developing solution rinsed sooner

Before First Rinse

Rinse based on desired depth:

  • • 1–2 hours → Light tan
  • • 2–3 hours → Medium tan
  • • 4–5 hours → Dark / deep tan

Important Notes

  • • Tan will continue developing for up to 24 hours after rinsing
  • • The tan may look lighter immediately after the rinse — this is normal
  • • Avoid sweating or getting wet before rinsing

First Rinse

  • • Use lukewarm water only
  • • No soap during first rinse
  • • Cosmetic bronzer will rinse off while the DHA continues developing underneath

Quick Tip

Not sure which option to choose? Classic tans are great if you can leave the solution on overnight, while Rapid tans are ideal for busy schedules or same-day events.
